Desert Figure

A loose and temporary assembly, Desert Figure was an effigy created in the Atacama Desert. It was made entirely by tossing branches and twigs onto the sand and then moving them into place with a stick. The figure itself was never touched. Moments of its creation can be seen in the animation “Desktop Microinvasion.”
